What's frustrating is how avoidable this is. None of that shit is in the Bible, or meant to be taken seriously. In no way does calling the earth old conflict with their faith. It actually makes God stronger and more impressive when you accept the universe is not 26 miles wide and there are literally quadrillions of stars out there.

If these people actually read the Bible instead of fetishizing it, they'd know that very quickly. But they need someone else to read it for them. That's your problem.
