In hindsight, it's kind of impossibly hilarious that after five straight years of watching Trump fuck up one evil scheme after another due to massive incompetence and/or warning us a month ahead of time, we suddenly had all this faith in his ability to enact an elaborate coup d'etat through the carefully coordinated manipulation of multiple high-profile institutions known for their stringent oversight.

Remember how a big chunk of his plan hinged on the Supreme Court magically handing him hundreds of thousands of votes for absolutely no reason because nobody told him those are lifetime appointments and he has zero leverage over them?
