I really hate the new trend of TOP TEN SPOOKY HALLOWEEN MOVIES listicles where 60% of the entries begin with "...while not TECHNICALLY a horror movie," and then inform you that, if you really think about it, [insert social issue here] is, at its heart, a ghost story, and isn't [commonplace problem with zero connection to Halloween] scarier than any monster?

"While not TECHNICALLY a horror movie, Marriage Story is, at heart, about the ghosts of a relationship, and isn't divorce scarier than 100 Michael Myerses?"
